NDC Adoption Trends

Several major carriers have accelerated their NDC rollout timelines following a wave of new agency agreements. The shift away from legacy EDIFACT continues to gather pace, with booking shares through NDC channels rising across European and Asia-Pacific markets. Airlines that moved early on NDC are now reporting measurable cost reductions in their distribution spend.  GDS Contract Developments  Amadeus confirmed the renewal of two major full-content agreements this fortnight, while Sabre continued its push into the mid-market agency segment. Travelport's new commercial framework is generating cautious interest from regional carriers evaluating alternatives to traditional GDS dependency.
