NDC Momentum Builds


  NDC momentum builds as more carriers shift booking incentives away from legacy GDS channels. Several airlines have introduced surcharges on EDIFACT bookings while simultaneously offering lower fares through NDC-enabled channels, accelerating the commercial shift.  Agency Response  Travel agencies are responding with urgency, investing in multi-source aggregation platforms that can simultaneously handle GDS, NDC, and direct connect content. TMCs in particular are under pressure from corporate clients demanding best available fares regardless of channel.
